Si rende noto che l'Automobile Club Mantova, Ente Pubblico non economico con sede legale in Mantova - Piazza 80° Fanteria n. 13, è detentore del marchio Tazio Nuvolari in tutte le sue forme. Tale marchio è registrato presso l'UAMI-Ufficio Italiano brevetti e presso l'Ufficio Marchi Internazionali, con conseguente acquisizione del diritto esclusivo di utilizzo. Tutto ciò premesso, l'Automobile Club Mantova diffida chiunque non sia formalmente autorizzato, a utilizzare in alcun modo detto marchio per l'identificazione di prodotti, servizi o eventi di qualsiasi natura, realizzati ed immessi sul mercato nazionale ed internazionale. Equipe Vesco-Guerini wins the 2014 edition of Gran Premio Nuvolari

Teatro Bibiena of Mantova welcomed Andrea Vesco and Andrea Guerini winners of the 28th edition of Gran Premio Nuvolari on Fiat 508 S Balilla Sport (1934) followed by Giovanni Moceri and Daniele Bonetti (Fiat 1100/103 y.1954) at the second place and the crew of Giuliano Cané and Lucia Galliani on Lancia Aprilia (1938) at the third place. Even for this year Mantova Corse collects a great success: the 85 regularity tests have been numerous and challenging; the singular route, going throughout the most suggestive roads of the Central Italy, has stimulated the sporting soul of the participants. The fundamental and generous support of the partners Audi Italia, Eberhard & Co., Etiqueta Negra polo & sportswear, Banca Generali and Ufi Filters, once again moved by a sincere passion which proved to be loyal companions and creators of contributions able to give the right support to the organization, so as to make the Gran Premio Nuvolari an appointment always full of interesting news. In fact, this year, Audi Italia, main partner of the event, presented the new TT Coupé Nuvolari Limited Edition preview, just 100 cars made, an extraordinary tribute to the 17-year relationship between the German company and the famous event of classic cars; Eberhard & Co. hosted on Thursday 18 night at the Gioielleria Piccinini in the heart of Mantova, an elegant event to celebrate the launch of the new born timepiece, the Tazio Nuvolari Solo Tempo. The crowd of fans and onlookers followed the race with a participation that testifies the interest in the world of classic cars. Important is the contribution of institutions including, first of all, the Mayor of Mantova Nicola Sodano, for giving the availability of the city and its beautiful squares. Vesco-Guerini, absolute winners of the 28th edition, have been awarded by Federico Ferraro, Service Responsible of Audi Italia, with a beautiful cup offered by the main partner, 2 chronographs by Eberhard & Co. from the Tazio Nuvolari collection and a scale model of an Auto Union Type D driven by Nuvolari to win the Gran Premio d'Italia (1938). As usual Luca Bergamaschi, Marco Marani and Claudio Rossi, the three organizers, presented the ceremony of awarding prizes, inside the eighteenth-century Teatro Bibiena of Mantova. The Italian “Loro Piana Classic” and the foreign “Gli Svizzeri” have been awarded as the best car racing teams for the 2014 edition. Federica Bignetti and Luisa Ciatti, riding the car number 213, an Alfa Romeo Giulietta spider (1960), has been awarded with the prestigious Coppa delle Dame. Several striking moments characterized the Gran Premio Nuvolari 2014. The passage through the Aeroclub Modena and in Imola at the Autodromo "Enzo e Dino Ferrari", where the crews had the chance to test their skills. Suggestive and unforgettable the stages in the most famous villages of Marche, Umbria, Tuscany and Emilia Romagna. Urbino, Città di Castello, Siena and Arezzo are just few of the cities, in addiction to Rimini and Ravenna, that welcomed the passage of the enthusiastic crew of Nuvolari. The help and support of partners, technical sponsors, media partners and sponsoring and sports organizations have been very important as it has been indispensable the collaboration of the law enforcement and the Civil Protection for having provided security for the whole duration of the race. Mantova Corse closes up this 28th edition with a huge success, confirming as an unmissable event for fans all around the world: Grand Premio Nuvolari combines sports competition, culture, tourism and Italian excellence and it is characterized by the charm of the tracks, the hospitality care and the original conception of the tests. With any doubt, Gran Premio Nuvolari remains one of the world's most important events of classic cars.

Audi pays tribute to Tazio Nuvolari with the Audi TT Tazio Nuvolari Limited Edition

Audi has quietly introduced the TT Nuvolari in Italy. Named after Italian racer Tazio Nuvolari, the special edition features a Daytona Grey exterior and 19-inch alloy wheels. The car has also been equipped with Nuvolari badging and the S-Line package which includes sportier bumpers and extended side skirts. Interior changes are limited but the model features black leather seats, Nuvolari-branded sill plates and special floor mats. There's also an individually-numbered plaque on the center console. Power is provided by a 2.0-liter TDI four-cylinder engine that produces 184 PS (135 kW) and 380 Nm (280 lb-ft) of torque. It is connected to a six-speed manual transmission which enables the coupe to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 7.1 seconds and hit a top speed of 241 km/h (149 mph). Production will be limited to 100 units and Italian pricing starts at €51,900.

A new car for the museum: Bugatti Type 37

A new car wiil accompany the museum's visitors in the next months, a Bugatti Type 37. The Type 35 chassis and body were reused on the Type 37 sports car. Fitted with a new 1.5 L (1496 cc/91 in³) straight-4 engine, 290 Type 37s were built. This engine was an SOHC 3-valve design and produced 60 hp (44 kW). The same engine went on to be used in the Type 40. With one of these cars Tazio Nuvolari ran the IV Coppa della Perugina, resulting 7th overall and 3rd of class 1500.
