BEYOND

The Tazio Nuvolari Museum is pleased to announce the new exhibition area “BEYOND”, designed to offer an emotional experience, featuring a series of rotating temporary exhibitions. Curated by Fabio Castagna, the author of the project who collaborates closely with ACI Mantova (Director Giuseppe Pottocar), the owner of the Tazio Nuvolari brand, this new section promises to be an engaging and stimulating experience for all visitors, showcasing the multifaceted life of Tazio Nuvolari and his countless skills, while also celebrating his genius and innovative spirit.

This new section promises to be an engaging and stimulating experience for all visitors, exploring Tazio Nuvolari's dynamic life and his numerous talents, while celebrating his genius and innovative spirit:

Telling the Dynamic Life of Tazio Nuvolari: Expanding the narrative around Nuvolari, including his achievements as an inventor, airplane and motorboat pilot, designer, actor, and ambassador.

Exploring Different Disciplines: Presenting the artistic and multifaceted side of Nuvolari through sections dedicated to sculpture, cinema, comics, fashion, publishing, music, cuisine, and wine.

Mirabilia from Around the World: Unique objects from all over the world showcasing Tazio Nuvolari’s global influence across various disciplines.

Engaging the Public: Interactive showcases to further enrich visitors’ experience (GlobalMedia).

The first theme for this new section will be COMICS, where private collections and the Milan Comic Museum WOW, a partner of the Museum, will exhibit original works featuring our Champion over the years. Among them, the legendary “SuperGulp! Fumetti in TV”, where the episode “TUBOLARI – The Mystery of the Missing Racer” was created by Maestro Guido De Maria (written by Guido De Maria and illustrated by Silver). This adventure of detective Nick Carter, a character created by Bonvi and De Maria, was a clear homage to Enzo Ferrari (referred to as Cavalier Ottonari) and Tazio Nuvolari (renamed Fazio Tubolari), set in Maranello, just a few kilometers from the Modena studios where TV comics were produced. For the occasion, the animated comic will be screened exclusively during the museum’s opening.

“BEYOND” will not only honor Tazio Nuvolari's sporting legacy but also celebrate his exceptional versatility. This expansion will provide visitors with a more complete, educational, and engaging experience, helping to keep alive the memory of one of the greatest drivers in motorsport history.

Fabio Castagna, the curator of the project with experience in international exhibitions in the cultural and technological sectors, will ensure an engaging and interactive experience for visitors. GlobalMedia, the museum’s technological partner, will produce digital content to support this new section, integrating it into the current museum path, which will be offered for free to all museum visitors.
