Explore the New “BEYOND” Exhibition Area at the Tazio Nuvolari Museum!

The Tazio Nuvolari Museum has been renewed with the opening of the new “BEYOND” Exhibition Area, an emotional and innovative experience designed to tell the story of the legendary Mantuan driver’s life and achievements in a unique and engaging way.

From January 1 to May 31, the first temporary exhibition will focus on Comics, curated by Fabio Castagna. An extraordinary selection of international comics from all over the world celebrates Tazio Nuvolari’s adventures, narrating his triumphs through period illustrations and stories.

Among the masterpieces on display is the famous episode “Tubolari – The Mystery of the Missing Racing Car”, featured in SuperGulp! Comics on TV, created by Maestro Guido De Maria (with texts by Guido De Maria and drawings by Silver). This episode, a tribute to Nuvolari and Enzo Ferrari (respectively renamed “Fazio Tubolari” and “Cavalier Ottonari”), is a true gem of 1970s television storytelling, set in Maranello, not far from the Modena studios where the comics were produced.

With “BEYOND,” the Museum inaugurates a section entirely dedicated to exploring the lesser-known aspects of Nuvolari’s life. Not only a legendary driver, but also an innovator, creative genius, and multifaceted personality, Tazio will come to life through an immersive journey enriched by digital content, developed in collaboration with GlobalMedia.

This expansion, announced by Museum Director Giuseppe Pottocar, not only celebrates Nuvolari’s sporting heritage but also offers visitors an educational and interactive experience that blends tradition with technology. Fabio Castagna, an expert curator of international exhibitions, has worked to ensure a captivating and stimulating narrative for everyone, both young and old.
