A New Partnership for Culture and the Local Community: Agreement Between ACI Mantova and the Society for the Ducal Palace of Mantua Presented

Today, in the prestigious setting of the Atrio degli Arcieri at the Ducal Palace of Mantua, a press conference was held to present a strategic partnership aimed at enhancing and promoting Mantua's cultural identity.

The event opened with welcoming remarks by the Mayor of Mantua, Andrea Murari, who emphasized the importance of fostering collaboration among the city's leading institutions to strengthen the local cultural landscape.

The agreement, bringing together ACI Mantova—which manages the Tazio Nuvolari Museum—and the Society for the Ducal Palace of Mantua, represents far more than a formal partnership. It reflects a shared commitment to growth, cooperation, and the enrichment of the cultural experience offered to members, visitors, and the wider community.

Speakers' Presentations

Moderated by Alessandro Colombo, the conference featured presentations highlighting the key objectives and significance of this landmark collaboration.

Claudia Bonora, President of the Society for the Ducal Palace of Mantua, guided the audience through the Society's history from its foundation in 1902 to the present day. Through the stories of the people, restoration projects, and initiatives that have shaped its mission, she illustrated the Society's longstanding commitment to the protection, conservation, and enhancement of the Ducal Palace, one of Italy's most important monumental complexes.

Giuseppe Pottocar, Director of ACI Mantova and the Tazio Nuvolari Museum, presented the remarkable evolution of the Museum and highlighted how the enduring legacy of the "Flying Mantuan" continues to attract an increasingly young, diverse, and international audience, reaffirming Tazio Nuvolari as an outstanding ambassador for Mantua around the world.

Finally, Luca Barbieri, Vice President of the Society for the Ducal Palace of Mantua, together with Giuseppe Pottocar, introduced the opportunities and exclusive benefits that the new agreement will provide to members of both organizations.
